Current priorities
Tackling Anti Social Behaviour and feelings of safety
We take reports of anti social behaviour seriously. Reports of ASB will be investigated by local officers and we will work with you to investigate issues and deal with any perpetrators. We have a range of tools at out disposal including civil interventions and working with partners to resolve any issues.
Set: 2026-06-15
To tackle an issue of speeding vehicles in Balsall Common, Chadwick End & Dorridge.
We are aware that the residents of some areas are concerned about the number of speeding vehicles on local roads. We have a number of tools at our disposal including local speed watches, enforcement operations as well as support from the road harm team with their mobile police van. I would as if you have concerns about speeding in your area, please get in touch with your local officer and we tell you what we are already doing in your area as well as offer further support.
Set: 2026-06-15
To tackle instances of Fly tipping
We have observed a number of instances in our area in recent months of where fly tipping has occurred and the impact this has had on the community. We have built positive relationships with the local authority where we will support their investigations. This has resulted in a fixed penalty being given to one person for disposing of waste with further investigations which will likely lead to fines. We have even discussed joint patrols to tackle known hot spot areas.
