Current priorities

Anti-social driving (e.g. speeding, nuisance or noisy vehicles, cycles or e-scooters on the pavement)

•Police continue to commit to patrols along roads of reported excess driving and ASB driving to deter ASB driving as well as identify those involved. •We continue to work with local authorities and partners, including CSW (community speed watch groups) to identify areas of concern and to support local CSW activities.

Set: 2026-06-01

Tackling Anti-social behaviour (ASB) Swiftly responding to incidents of ASB and effectively using policing powers available to intervene - including powers of dispersal where the actions of individuals or groups impact their wider surroundings; which can lead to wider harm, including the misuse of public spaces or local parks, criminal damage or vandalism, for example graffiti or damage to public buildings.

•We continue to work alongside partners and youth organisations, including schools and colleges to identify opportunities for early intervention with individuals at risk of causing ASB. •In the last few months a number of proactive patrols, targeted operations, and community meetings led by police and supported by partners have taken place in area to address community concerns around ASB, drug use and criminal damage in the park area, including both knife sweeps and Neighbourhood First led clear up operations.
