Current priorities

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) and youth related crime and disorder (e.g. youth related ASB, large groups or threatening behaviours) Swiftly responding to incidents of ASB and effectively using policing powers available to intervene - including powers of dispersal where the actions of individuals or groups impact their wider surroundings; which can lead to wider harm, including the misuse of public spaces or buildings, criminal damage or vandalism, for example graffiti or damage to public buildings.

•Officers continue to respond to reports of youth related ASB in the area, with officers committed to conducting additional patrols in areas of ASB. •Work ongoing with partners and organisers of events at The Defiant Sport at Archery Rec who have reported several incidents of damaged caused as a result of ASB. •We continue to work alongside schools in the area to identify opportunities for early intervention with individuals at risk of causing ASB.

Set: 2026-06-01

Anti-social driving (e.g. speeding, nuisance or noisy vehicles, cycles or e-scooters on the pavement) Responding to and addressing community concerns around road and driving related offences that fall into the fatal 5 driving offences.

•Increased visible foot and vehicle patrols in areas of reported excess speeding, and ASB driving in an attempt to deter and identify those involved. •We are also continuing to partner with local CSW (community speed watch) groups in the area to plan days of action along roads reported by residents as problem areas.
