Current priorities
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) Swiftly responding to incidents of ASB and effectively using policing powers available to intervene - including powers of dispersal where the actions of individuals or groups impact their wider surroundings; which can lead to wider harm, including the misuse of public spaces or buildings, criminal damage or vandalism, for example graffiti or damage to public buildings.
•Additional patrols across the area to deter ASB and identify those involved. •Hotspot areas and targeted patrols include around the Nevill estate and park areas, as well as down into the Ousedale estate, as well as reported ASB down from areas of the old racecourse and along Spital Road, following ASB associated with ASB driving, and reports of off-road motorbikes in the local estates. •Officers also continue to engage with young people to identify those at risk of becoming involved in ASB, providing early support, building positive relationships, and working with partners to divert individuals away from offending behaviour and towards more constructive activities.

Drug Harm Reduction. Targeting drug related crime in your town through intelligence, enforcement and partnership work.
•Officers continue to conduct high visibility patrols across your town to act as a deterrent and to create an unwelcoming environment for those wishing to conduct criminal activities in relation drug dealing or use. •Targeted patrols in not only reported areas, but also in areas where officers have seen signs of drug use, such as alleyways and side streets. •Police led operations continue, working alongside our partners targeting known areas of drug use and drug dealing, with partnership work ongoing around known addresses causing drug harm in your area.
