Current priorities

Continuing issues of anti-social behaviour (ASB), specifically motorcycles on the Railway Walk.

We are working in collaboration with a range of partners, to get to the root of problems and solve them for the long-term. We are introducing targeted patrols and joint operations supported by neighbouring forces over the next three months to tackle ASB. Work is ongoing with the Community safety partnership and wider partners to monitor and review this issue over the summer period.

Preventing and disrupting Vehicle Crime is a priority for our local officers in collaboration with the community safety partnership

Local officers are actively tackling Vehicle Crime, by working alongside key specialist stakeholders in Criminal Investigations, Forensics, Roads Policing Team, and in coordination with neighbouring Policing Teams and Police Forces. We are conducting both overt and covert operations to disrupt offending and bring offenders to justice.

Off-road bikes being driven in an antisocial manner.

We are working closely with partners to ensure that those responsible for this behaviour are held accountable for their actions. We have increased patrols in the area and utilise data from our internal systems and partner feedback to direct officers to the right areas at the right time.

Set: 2026-03-04

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) on The Railway Walk

We have been conducting numerous operations locally with support from our central teams and had some great success in seizing e-bikes and e-scooters being used in an anti-social manner. However this will remain a priority with coming into the summer. Targeted media campaigns will be supporting communities to inform us of any people they know involved in this ASB so we can take positive action
