Current priorities

Nuisance motorcycles.

We have increased high‑visibility patrols at busy times in areas such as Chatham Dockside. Officers are also regularly visiting locations where antisocial behaviour has been reported to help prevent issues and provide reassurance.

Set: 2026-04-15

E-scooters and e-bikes.

The local officer has spoken with an e‑bike rider and issued an Acceptable Behaviour Agreement. This is a voluntary agreement to help stop antisocial behaviour. Information has also been shared with specialist teams to support further action where needed.

Set: 2026-04-15

Road safety.

We have identified individuals linked to unsafe or antisocial bike use, who are now being monitored. Officers have also worked with St Mary’s Island Primary School, speaking with parents and carers about road safety, particularly at busy school drop‑off and pick‑up times.
