Current priorities
Nuisance motorcycles.
We have increased patrols at busy times in areas including Gillingham Green, the Recreation Ground and The Vineries. We are working with housing partners to identify those causing problems and are engaging directly with young people and their parents to offer guidance and support. Information is being gathered and shared with specialist teams to support further action.
Set: 2026-04-15
Antisocial behaviour - nuisance.
We are visiting local events, community centres and faith centres to engage with the community. We run regular drop-in sessions to listen to concerns and help people understand what antisocial behaviour (ASB) is and how to report it. We have also held joint sessions with partners, including a recent event with Medway Housing, and community meetings with residents. More events are planned to continue this engagement.
Set: 2026-04-15
Drug dealing.
We have carried out joint visits with partner agencies to addresses including Keswick Court, Hazlemere Drive, Victory Place and St Albarn’s Close. We are working closely with housing providers to address concerns about drug use and help keep residents safe.
