Current priorities

Anti-social behaviour/ASB (Force priority)

The summer months sees an increase of Anti-social behaviour in the town centre. This ranges from large groups of youths gathering, and behaving in an antisocial manner, to groups of people drinking on the street, shouting and swearing, causing distress to passers by and local businesses. We as a team aim to be out on foot tackling these issues, utilising ASB powers to tackle persistent offenders.

Drugs-related offences (Team priority)

The town centre is a busy place, with high volumes of foot and vehicular traffic daily. With this brings us intelligence surrounding drug use and supply both in and out of Rugby. We aim to be out tackling drug related offences such as street dealing, and gather intelligence to help tackle larger drug related criminality in rugby Town.

Set: 2026-07-01

Youth ASB

Our team priority will be to continue to prioritise responding and dealing with ASB in Rugby Town Centre.

Set: 2026-04-01

Increased Team Visibility

Recent operation Resolve Survey Results showed the public want more high visibility patrols in the town centre. We will be prioritising this, ensuring we are out on foot as much as possible
