Current priorities

Anti Social behaviour including the use of E-Bikes and motorbikes on Sandy Hill and Caesars Camp.

Local officers complete regular patrols of the area, engaging with local residents and completing joint patrols with the MOD, aiming to educate those who use the training area. In recent months the local policing team attended a joint engagement event on Sandy Hill with partner agencies and attended community events to engage with residents. A gaming van event was also held at the Community Centre to enable local officers to engage with youths from the area to discuss any concerns or issues they may have.

Shoplifting - Reports of retail crime have been increasing nationally. Surrey Police have prioritised retail crime and has seen a significant increase in the number of offenders identified arrested and charged for offences.

Local officers complete regular patrols liaising with retailers and encouraging reporting of offences. We work closely with neighbouring forces to identify suspects and take positive action to bring them to justice. Recently we have run operations targeting organised shoplifters resulting in a number of arrests and have further operations planned.
