Antisocial behaviour - Cyncoed Campus
We have carried out high-visibility patrols in identified areas and worked with Cardiff Met University to address ASB issues. Stills from CCTV were shared with local schools, which was key in leading to the identification of many youths, some of which had repeatedly been causing issues at the site. For those identified, ASB referrals have been submitted and warning letters served. The University has also undergone a programme to improve security measures. Over the school summer holidays the University ran a Youth Sports Inclusion programme; the University approached schools in the local community to offer this programme to their students; in return the students were expected to respect both the site and staff; this has helped in building and improving relations with youths. Overall, this joint approach has proven successful with a drop in ASB at the site.

We have conducted a crime prevention talk and a Question-and-Answer session about a variety of crime types, including vehicle crime, at Park End Church, which was both well attended and received.
