Current priorities

Drug dealing and use around The Thamesmead East Estate, tower blocks. ASB in and around Yarnton Way, and the surrounding streets.

Several warrants have been conducted on the ward over the past year. Several arrests made and quantities of drugs seized. Proactive patrols are conducted regularly and we utilise our stop and search powers to target those committing drug offences. We work closely with the council and housing associations to tackle ASB in the area so that we will can issue ASB warnings, community protection notices and closure orders where necessary.
