Current priorities
ASB - Police are working to reduce ongoing anti-social behaviour, particularly involving young people. This includes increased patrols in hotspot areas, early intervention, and enforcement action against repeat offenders to prevent further disruption to residents..
We have continued to address ongoing anti-social behaviour, particularly incidents involving young people. Joint visits have now been carried out alongside the Leicester City Council community safety team, allowing for early intervention and engagement with those involved, and the identification of any underlying issues contributing to the behaviour. High-visibility patrols remain in place within known hotspot areas, and further enforcement action will be taken where necessary against repeat offenders. This partnership approach aims to reduce incidents and provide reassurance to local residents, with ongoing monitoring to ensure the issue.

Drug dealing and drug use continue to be a key priority. Police are carrying out targeted operations based on local intelligence and are working closely with Leicester City Council to take action against addresses linked to drug-related activity.
Tackling drug dealing and drug use remains a key priority for police. Officers continue to carry out targeted operations based on local intelligence and are working closely with Leicester City Council to take action against addresses linked to drug-related activity. Information provided by members of the public has been vital in supporting this work. Reports from the community help officers identify hotspots, build intelligence, and take effective action against those involved in drug-related crime. This ongoing cooperation plays a crucial role in enabling police to target the right individuals and locations. Residents are encouraged to continue sharing information, as all reports contribute to a clearer picture of activity in the area and help keep communities safe.

We know from previous years that at around this time off-road bikes and quad bikes start to become an issue – being ridden illegally and dangerously in open and green spaces. With the nights getting lighter, we will be carrying out dedicated patrols to try and tackle this issue.
Operation YATTER continues to address the ongoing issue of off-road bikes and E-bikes being used across open spaces within the beat. Officers have taken positive action, resulting in the seizure of several off-road bikes and E-bikes linked to anti-social behaviour and community disruption. Police will continue to carry out targeted patrols and intelligence-led activity to identify those responsible and take enforcement action where necessary. The use of a range of proven tactics from previous summers remains in place to reduce incidents and improve safety for residents. Members of the public are encouraged to keep reporting concerns, as community information remains vital in supporting police to take effective action against those involved
