Current priorities

General ASB, congregating youths e-scooters and bikes.

In addition to Oakfield Park, the team has been stepping up foot patrols around our local parks and open spaces in regards to groups of people on e-bikes. As a result, we have issued a number of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) warning letters to individuals causing a nuisance in the community. Our parks are spaces for everyone to enjoy safely, and we will not tolerate behaviour that puts the public at risk.

Road Safety including car cruising, anti-social driving and vehicle safety has been highlighted by the public as an issue.

The beat team have been out conducting numerous patrols across Oakfield Park and other nearby parks. This follows recent reports from the community regarding anti-social driving—specifically, vehicles performing "doughnuts" in the car park of Oakfield Park. A number of vehicle registration numbers have already been recorded. CCTV checks are currently underway to identify the drivers involved.
