Current priorities
Fly tipping.
We continue to work closely with Maidstone Borough Council's Waste Crime Team to tackle fly-tipping across the area. Joint operations have been carried out to target illegal waste carriers, with information sharing helping to identify offenders and support enforcement action. All incidents of fly-tipping are reported through the appropriate channels to ensure they can be investigated and dealt with effectively. A My Community Voice (MCV) message has also been shared to raise awareness of fly-tipping and provide residents with information on how to report incidents.
Set: 2026-04-14
Nuisance motorcycles.
Regular patrols are carried out in areas affected by nuisance motorbike activity, with the aim of identifying offenders, deterring antisocial behaviour and improving community safety. When riders are identified, officers use road traffic legislation to seize vehicles where appropriate. Antisocial behaviour powers are also used to tackle repeat offending and help prevent further incidents. Officers will continue to patrol hotspot locations and take action against those who use motorcycles in a manner that causes nuisance, alarm or distress to the local community.

Road safety issues.
Regular vehicle patrols are carried out across the area, with officers stopping drivers where vehicle defects or road traffic offences are identified. Vehicles found to have no valid tax or insurance are seized, and enforcement action is taken where appropriate. Speed checks have also been carried out in locations where residents have raised concerns about speeding, helping to improve road safety and deter unsafe driving. Officers will continue to patrol the area and take action against traffic offences to help keep local roads safe.
