Current priorities
Repeated use of off road motorbikes in the Ridge area.
NPT are receiving multiple reports about off road motorbikes and electric bikes being used by adults and children in Messingham and Ridge . The reports have spread to local farmlands where farmers are reporting the motorbikes going on their land. Action – Intelligence gathering has been conducted around where the bikes are being used and stored. Along with best times and days to catch riders on them. High visibility disruptions patrols have started and will continue. NPT will continue to do high visibility patrols around the area to try and target the riders. We will be looking to take positive action against those using off road motorbikes under section 59 or traffic legislation offences. Rural task force has been made aware and will continue to conduct high visibility patrols.
