Shop theft

Shop theft continues to be an issue in Towns across the UK. There continues to be shop theft in the Ashby area. We will seek to gain Criminal Behaviour Orders against repeat offenders, banning them from targeted shops. We will work with Criminal Justice partners to gain convictions against repeat offenders. The NPT will also work with partners to disrupt identified repeat offenders. Ashby have recently relaunched the Shop Watch scheme and will prioritise getting all retail businesses in the Ashby area signed up to the scheme
