You previously said: Crime and ASB in the Batchwood Ward (specifically Oysterfields, the hospital and High Oaks).

We did: • We conducted a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in Falmouth Court. • A man was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal damage for ASB and crime in Century Close. • We issued a teenager with a Community Protection Warning. Following non-compliance with the warning, he was issued a Community Protection Notice. If he breaches this, he could be arrested. • We increased high-visibility and plain-clothed patrols at various times. • We continue to work with hospital operations, security management, and Hightown Housing Association. We will support any evictions of individuals intent on causing anti-social behaviour.

You previously said: Drug-related crime and ASB in St Peter’s Ward (focusing on Charrington Place, streets around St Albans City train station & the city centre).

We did: • We increased high-visibility and plain-clothed patrols. • We issued a teenager with a Community Protection Warning. • We have been working with Hightown Housing Association, who are looking to install CCTV in the area. • We conducted joint operations with British Transport Police (BTP) and railway enforcement officers in the area surrounding the train station. Train station security now regularly patrol Charrington Place multi-storey car park. • We visited every address in Davy House and Ellis House to speak to residents and conducted a survey about their issues.
