Current priorities
ASB on Church Street
•Regular patrols of area, in particular of an evening to combat ASB. Creation of the youths causing such issues are now on the ASB ladder leading to letters sent and parents visited. •Church St including the Library have been integrated into a patrol hotspot. There has been significant increase in police patrol hours within this vicinity which has been noted by local community groups. •This has been raised in multi-agency meetings and an agreed partnership approach with Durham Constabulary, Durham County Council (Safer Places Team, Neighbourhood Wardens), with regular meetings taking place. A number of youths have been identified and have been invited to the police station with parent where they will be placed on Acceptable Behaviour Orders work undergoing with regards to a PSPO for the area
