Current priorities

Anti-social behaviour

Some young people have been causing general nuisance in and around shops. We continue to carry out high visibility patrols to prevent, detect and deter anti-social behaviour, and when individuals have been identified they are issued anti-social behaviour warnings and receive further interventions We continue to work with partners to mitigate the effects of antisocial behaviour by identifying those who cause issues in the community and issuing appropriate warnings where necessary in order to improve community safety and reduce ASB.

Retail theft

We are working closely with local businesses to review CCTV to identify offenders. We are also conducting targeted high visibility patrols inside and around shops to reduce thefts and provide reassurance to members of the community.
