Current priorities

Your Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to carry out high‑visibility foot patrols throughout Castle Park, focusing on identifying and addressing any incidents of anti‑social behaviour in the area. These patrols are designed to reassure the public, deter offending, and ensure the park remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone. In addition to regular patrols, officers will also host frequent ‘Talk to Us’ engagement sessions, giving members of the public the opportunity to speak directly with the team about any concerns or questions they may have. We will also be running bike‑marking events on a regular basis to help prevent cycle theft and support residents in protecting their property.

Next talk to us event has been arranged for 30th of August.

We welcome feedback from the public and encourage you to engage with us. We want to hear about the issues affecting your area, how we can support your community, and what you would like to see from us on a regular basis. This could include attending a ‘Talk to Us’ event, where you can speak with officers about policing concerns, receive crime‑prevention advice, and learn more about who we are and what we do. We can also deliver Policing Masterclasses, offering educational sessions for communities on topics such as Drugs, Anti‑Social Behaviour, Fraud, Child Sexual Exploitation, Modern Slavery, and more, alongside signposting to appropriate support agencies. We are also keen to see more Community SpeedWatch and Neighbourhood Watch schemes established. These programmes empower local residents to take ownership of issues in their area, play an active role in tackling them, and work closely with police for ongoing support. If you have information about criminal activity, concerns within your community, are interested in forming or joining a Neighbourhood Watch or SpeedWatch group, or simply want to speak with us, please get in touch using the contact form at the bottom of this webpage.

Whether you have information about crime or issues in your neighbourhood, want to get involved in Neighbourhood Watch or SpeedWatch, or would just like to speak with us, we encourage you to reach out using the contact form at the bottom of this webpage.
