Current priorities

Reduce retail crime across Tyburn’s three major retail parks (Ravenside, Castle Vale, and The Fort) by working collaboratively with partners to target prolific offenders, develop and deliver an effective crime?prevention strategy, and strengthen public trust and confidence in the police.

We have taken pro-active measures this month in order to reduce offending in and around our retail parks. This being accomplished by plain clothes operations in order to apprehend offenders on site. We have had numerous theft relating arrests this month with multiple charges being authorised and suspect currently being tried through the criminal justice process.

Set: 2026-05-25

Address persistent anti?social behaviour by repeat offenders through collaboration with Birmingham City Council and partner agencies, implementing proportionate enforcement strategies for individuals who continue to negatively impact the daily lives of the community.

With the warm weather and summer holidays fast approaching we have identified and tackled Anti Social Behaviour around castle vale high street, and other independent streets. This has been tackled by targeting repeat offenders, issuing CPWs, proactive patrols and also engaging with the public and businesses and partner agencies.

Set: 2026-05-25

Work with West Midlands Police Road Safety partners and external agencies to improve road safety across Tyburn, with a particular focus on schools

To tackle road safety we have conducted high visibility patrols around school are continues with vehicle speeding operation around streets which are causing issues. We have continued to monitor road safety at our retail parks and also around school start and close times.
