Current priorities
Retail Crime
The Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to target persistent offenders and engage with partner agencies and local businesses in order to offer reassurance, support and crime prevention advice. High visibility patrols will continue in locations of concern particularly at times of seasonal demand. We have issued a number of Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Community Protection Notices (CPNs) to individuals who continue to offend.?
Set: 2026-07-02
Anti-social behaviour (ASB)
The Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to carryout regular patrols, focusing on areas where reports of ASB have been made. We work closely with partner agencies to tackle this type of behaviour, identify those responsible, and manage persistent offenders and locations. We also continue to carry out intervention work with local schools and youth groups through our dedicated youth officers, to divert any young people who may be involved away from this pattern of behaviour.
Set: 2026-07-02
Anti-social driving, in particular speeding vehicles
We are engaging with local communities and stakeholders to listen to their concerns surrounding anti-social road related issues. We continue to support and promote force-wide campaigns, targeted operations with specialist units, and road-related activity including Operation Downsway deployments. We will also liaise with local community speed watch groups, assist in conducting speed checks, as well as encourage residents to utilise the Operation Crackdown service for reporting any road related concerns.
