Current priorities
Borough Priority - Retail Crime - Shoplifting is a National priority and has an impact on businesses in the town.
Our team complete engagement events at hotspot retail locations to be more visible. We also work with shops to improve reporting and evidence collection, as well as pursuing offenders.
Set: 2026-05-10
Anti-social behaviour (ASB) and Antisocial Driving (ASD) - increasing reports of ASB in rural location including off road use of Motorbikes and Quads and speeding on country lanes.
Increasing patrol activity in rural areas and more engagement with the rural community. We now have a dedicated Rural crime officer for Guildford to support our rural crime PCSO. We are trialling the use of signage for reports of off road driving.
