OP Clarify -Vehicle related ASB in relation to off road bikes – Making use of police powers in order to protect the community against the effects of Anti-social behaviours from vehicles on the road and in the rural communities. Further work also to educate and prosecute those affecting this.
Identifying problem areas and recording these as a ‘Prevention Activity Log’, to monitor and note the ongoing issue. Regular patrols and where necessary, the issuing of Traffic Offence Reports. Partnership working with local stores to assist with implementing measures to prevent vehicle ASB. Concerns raised about speeding are shared with the Safety Camera Team, for consideration of being a speed enforcement site. Several posts on social media released by police to encourage the public to provide any information they have around the vehicles and riders to help police take further action.
