Current priorities
To work with partner agencies, retailers and businesses to reduce criminal offences and Anti Social behaviour in our Town Centres.
High Visible patrols have been conducted in our town centre both during the daytime trading hours and during late evenings. Officers have engaged with local retailers, businesses, banks, restaurants, cafes and licensed premises to understand local concerns, encourage reporting and gather intelligence. Lowestoft Police are working with Lowestoft B.I.D to help reduce town centre related issues. Lowestoft Police are working with partner organisations to tackle the sale of illegal tobacco and illegal vapes. Positive action will be taken against those who commit crime and cause harassment, alarm and distress to others.
Set: 2026-03-16
To provide a visible policing presence in our public open spaces, including parks, play areas and coastal areas.
Police are patrolling our local open spaces to ensure these areas are safe and feel safe to others.
