Current priorities

We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with priorities that we will have for your local area for the next three months: Tackling rural crime and antisocial behaviour across west Norfolk

Across Hunstanton and Burnham vehicle antisocial behaviour is a worry for many. As well as carrying out speed checks along major routes such as the A149 and in more rural villages we’ve also seized an un-insured motorbike seen being driven around Hunstanton. To tackle rural crime we’ve been doing regular patrols along the major roads, visiting vulnerable rural businesses to offer crime prevention advice and speaking to victims of crime. A motorcycle safety event has been booked for May to help educate riders around staying safe on the roads.

We work with the community and local partners, as well as looking at our own data to come up with the priority that we will have for Hunstanton and Burnham for the next three months: Tackling youth and vehicle related anti-social behaviour Tackling rural and acquisitive crime

It's already been a busy start to the summer with events and engagements across the area. As we start to see more visitors we'll also be in the tourist hot-spots helping to provide crime prevention advice. We've visited schools and youth groups too. Sandi Starfish is back in place for beach safety and we're working on plans ahead of the summer holidays.
