Current priorities
Anti‑social behaviour continues to impact the quality of life for residents, particularly levels of youth nuisance, street drinking, drug misuse, rowdy gatherings, and behaviour linked to intimidation or environmental damage. Repeat locations and individuals create ongoing concern and reduce public confidence.
To reduce anti‑social behaviour within the ward, increase resident confidence, and create safer, more respectful public spaces through targeted enforcement, problem‑solving, and early intervention. Objectives: Identify and address ASB hotspots through intelligence‑led patrols. Tackle repeat offenders using appropriate powers and partnership interventions. Support vulnerable residents and victims affected by persistent ASB. Work with partners to prevent escalation and promote positive behaviour.
