Current priorities

To reduce the robbery and snatches of mobile phones in Larkswood ward.

Regular high‑visibility patrols are being conducted within the identified hotspot area to deter offending and provide community reassurance. Joint patrols are also taking place with the Local Authority Violence Reduction Officer, ensuring a coordinated approach to tackling the issues. Crime prevention advice has been delivered to residents during these patrols, focusing on practical measures to reduce vulnerability and encourage reporting. Additional resourcing has been secured from Specialist Taskforce Officers, who are supporting efforts to target priority nominals identified as being responsible for recent offences. Targeted enforcement activity is ongoing. Specific bail conditions have been issued to offenders, restricting their associations, movements, and access to repeat locations, with the aim of preventing further offending and reducing community impact.
