Dangerous Dogs PMP/3008/26 – There are a number of dangerous dogs that have been identified as causing significant issues to the community.
SNT have identified properties on the ward where the occupant owns a dangerous dog breed. SNT officers will confirm with the owners that they are abiding by the rules which enables them to keep the banned breed. If the rules are not followed, officers will consider taking further action and warrants may be executed to seize the dogs. SNT will provide advice and engage with the dog owners to encourage responsible dog ownership. SNT will look to increase their community engagement events around dogs to ensure that owners are fully aware of their obligations around keeping them particularly towards certain dangerous breeds.
