Current priorities

Anti- Social Behaviour: Ponies and Gigs This relates to issues and concerns around anti social behaviour with youths that are riding gigs on public roads and using the local area. Concerns raised also with the welfare of animals.

Your team will conduct high visibility patrols in and around locations where youths have been seen riding gigs and thereby increasing enforcement and engagement in the locality. Youths will be identified and engagement with parents to tackle any concerns. Engagement with locals in relation to where and when locations are identified for animals being kept and check on the welfare. Again look at enforcement and education if any offences identified and co-ordinate work with partners such as the RSPCA if required.

Anti- Social Behaviour: Town Hall Square & locality. This relates to the Town Hall Square estate and adjacent Crayford retail park. There has been a constant and increase in particular locations for ASB by groups of youths relating to thefts, bad behaviour towards shop staff and residents and drug misuse.

Our team to increase patrols with a variety of high visibility and plain clothes to increase enforcement and engagement. This will result in a variety of outcomes from arrests to CPNW and other methods escalating to CBO’s if required. Engagement with business within the retail park and also engagement with residents of Town Hall Square. Where local residents are identified as being anti social working with partners to deal. If there are any issues with relation to the estate bringing this to the attention of Pea Body and working in conjunction with them to identify and resolve potential problems. Working in conjunction with the design out crime via visual audits where necessary.
