Current priorities
Shoplifting
The team continue to closely monitor shoplifting on the ward. We work in conjunction with the manager at Co-Op regularly to report and investigate incidents of shoplifting and apprehend offenders. We continue to regularly attend Co-op and Sainsburys and Shell in a mix of plain clothes and uniformed patrols to disrupt any offences from occurring. This period there have been 11 reports of shoplifting made to Police. This is a reduction from 19 during the previous period.

Theft of Pedal Cycle
During this period there has been 11 reports of theft of pedal cycle. This is one higher from the previous period. We expected this figure would again be high due to the summer period and school children being off. As a team we have conducted uniformed patrols in the hotspots on the ward over various times. PCSO regularly conducts bike marketing events in the ward which are promoted on social media. The team conduct CCTV enquiries for all reports to identify offenders
