Current priorities
Violence against women and girls (VAWG).
We are working with the council law enforcement teams to enforce the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) covering street harassment. We are working in partnership with local businesses to help them run initiatives including Ask Angela and setting up safe spaces. We are detecting and deterring offenders by carrying out increased patrols.
Set: 2026-04-14
Drug Use and Drug Dealing.
We are working to create a hostile environment to those who sell drugs, particularly when it increases the vulnerability of those dependent on drugs. We are working in conjunction with outreach workers to deter drug users, and to ensure support is available to help those fighting addiction. We are acting on intelligence and information provided by the community to target the worst offenders and close premises that are causing issues.
Set: 2026-04-14
Street Drinking.
We are working with local security and the LET to tackle and deter street drinking. We have recently carried out a joint operation with the W12 Centre and the council to utilise the new ASB PSPO and will be repeating this. In addition to patrolling areas affected we are using the CPW, CPN, and in some circumstances CBOs to target individuals who are repeatedly engaging in anti social street drinking.
