Belle Vale — Neighbourhood Policing Team

Local policing team in the Merseyside Police area: contact routes, current priorities and public events.

All Merseyside Police neighbourhoods

A police surgery is a relaxed, open session where local residents can meet their neighbourhood officers face‑to‑face. It gives the community a chance to raise concerns, ask questions, share information, or simply get to know the team working in their area. There’s no appointment needed — people can drop in at any time during the session.

Contact the team

In an emergency always call 999. For non-emergencies call 101 or use Merseyside Police's online reporting.

Current priorities

Retail crime/anti-social behaviour and youth violence affecting local businesses/residents through criminal damage and carrying of weapons

From feedback in the community we are aware that retail crime and ASB in particular with youths is an issue. We know that this has been heightened recently with the Halloween and Christmas period. To combat this we have set up a Winter of Action Plan which aims at increasing patrols at key times to target offenders and this has included plain clothes officers working in the area.
