Current priorities

Retail crime and illegal parking causing issues for residents and businesses.

From feedback in the community we are aware that retail crime and obstructive parking is an issue. We know that this has been heightened recently with the Christmas period. To combat this we have set up a Winter of Action Plan which aims at increasing patrols at key times to target offenders and this has included plain clothes officers working in the area. We have also been working closely with partners to identify offenders and ensure they are dealt with robustly.
