Current priorities

Dealing with anti-social behaviour and road safety involving the illegal use of e-scooters and e-bikes across the ward.

We Did: We continue to target antisocial behaviour connected to e-scooters and e-bikes where we can, using targeted patrols and stop checks where possible. Further Op Pedalfast events will be scheduled in to target the hotspots for this offending.

Set: 2026-07-01

Dealing with the production of class B drugs on the area, in addition to tackling the use and supply of both class A and B drugs in areas where this affects the local community.

We Did: In June we have continued to disrupt the production and supply of drugs on the area. Good investigation management has resulted in the deportation of one offender this month for growing cannabis, and work is ongoing with other specialist departments to identify the wider network connected to these offences.

Set: 2026-07-01

Reducing vehicle crime, including damage to, theft from and theft of motor vehicles on the beat.

We Did: In June we have been working to address anti-social behaviour on Warwick Street, Tetuan Road and on Hinckley Road itself in accordance with the previous priority. This has included issuing community resolutions, warning letters as part of the ASB incremental approach and conducting joint visits with partners to some of the affected locations to formulate a plan for lasting improvements. We are supporting partners with football related initiatives on The Rally.
