Current priorities
Improve community engagement opportunities with our communities. We find attendance at local community engagements is often low giving us little opportunity to engage with the wider community.
Introducing surveys to identify how the community best want to engage and communicate, continue to regularly put social media posts highlighting the good work being completed, advertise beat surgery’s, ward meetings and patch walks.
Set: 2026-04-01
Regular complaints regarding inconsiderate parking in and around schools during pick up and collection times.
We have already successfully ran Operation Syphon (East Leicester Road Safety Operation). Engaged with Schools to pass messages out to parents and carers, attended and placed notices on vehicles.
Set: 2026-04-01
Licenced premises in the area not adhering to their alcohol license conditions. Having an impact on anti-social behaviour.
The beat team conduct regular patrols around the location and visit licenced premises. Licensing visits have taken place and are planned with partner agencies with a view to having all licensed premises in your community strictly adhering to their conditions, we are hoping this will prevent a significant rise in street drinking selling of vapes to minors and anti-social behaviour. Licenses will be amended or revoked with there are not significant improvements in the coming months.
