Current priorities

Road safety, Anti-social Behaviour and supporting people with vulnerabilities

Road Safety remains one of our key priorities, working with LRSP to identify problem areas, we then we work closely with Community Roadwatch Volunteers to target these hotspots. We engage with local schools to highlight the importance road safety including, wearing seat-belts. we encourage the children get involved and have a go of our speed monitoring equipment. When conducting policed operations, we deal with offending drivers robustly We are tackling antisocial behaviour with high visibility foot patrols on evening shifts, and Officers continue to work hard to identify problem youths with both engagement and enforcement.
