Current priorities

Anti- social Behaviour - Burnley Town Centre , Shoplifting - Burnley wide.

We focus on tackling antisocial behaviour (ASB) in Burnley town centre, specifically street drinking outside McDonalds and at the bus station and taxi rank. Work is ongoing with partners to address the offending. Increased patrols and various working groups and meetings have been established in the town centre with a view to reducing ASB and crime. Neighbourhood Policing Teams are refreshing Operation Vulture with a variety of plain clothed and uniformed operations planned to target those shoplifting in Burnley.
