Current priorities
Drug dealing.
We have increased patrols, with both uniformed and high-visibility officers, and carried out a number of stop checks. Work is ongoing to identify key individuals and vehicles linked to this activity so further action can be taken.
Set: 2026-04-16
Fly tipping.
We are working with Dartford Borough Council to identify areas at higher risk of waste crime and look at how they can be better protected. This ongoing work has helped identify vehicles linked to offences, and action is being taken to prosecute those responsible.
Set: 2026-04-16
Road safety.
We have carried out proactive vehicle stop checks, with advice given in most cases to support safer driving. Further work is planned, including a Community Speed Watch session. Community Speed Watch is a scheme where trained volunteers work with police to monitor speeding vehicles and raise awareness of road safety.
