Current priorities

E-scooters and e-bikes.

Officers carry out both proactive and reactive patrols to tackle illegal and antisocial use of vehicles. This includes stopping riders, seizing vehicles where needed, and providing advice to help people understand the law and stay safe.

Dog fouling.

We continue to work with partner agencies to share information and pass reports to the local authority, so enforcement action can be taken where needed.

Fly tipping and highway obstructions.

We have increased police visibility in fly‑tipping hotspot areas and continue to work closely with Medway Council. This includes identifying offenders and supporting the quick removal of waste to help keep the area clean and safe.
