Current priorities

Burglary - residential.

There have been 2 reports of residential burglary in the area over the past 3 months. Working with partner agencies, local neighbourhood officers helped locate and recover a stolen tractor that had been stored in a vacant garage. Officers continue to support investigations by carrying out enquiries, identifying CCTV opportunities and providing reassurance and crime prevention advice to residents. Tackling burglary remains a priority for the local policing team. Residents are encouraged to join My Community Voice (MCV) to receive updates and stay in direct contact with their local neighbourhood officer.

Vehicle crime.

Several fuel thefts from vehicles were reported overnight in May and appear to be linked. Officers are aware of the issue and continue to monitor reports and follow up any available lines of enquiry. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, vehicles or people acting unusually in the area, as this information can help identify offenders and prevent further incidents. To receive updates and stay in direct contact with your local neighbourhood officer, please join My Community Voice (MCV).
