Current priorities

Anti-social behaviour

Your neighbourhood officers are committed to tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) through engagement, collaborative working and problem solving. Everybody has the right to feel safe in their community, and we’ll take robust action against those acting disorderly and those who have an adverse impact on the wellbeing of our towns. The team will proactively patrol hotspot areas, providing a visible deterrent with partners.

Set: 2026-03-23

ASB - driving

We have a range of operational tactics we use to target the anti-social and dangerous use of vehicles. Operation Harley tackles the illegal use of off-road vehicles in town centres and rural areas, while Operation Wheeler sees our roads policing officers tackle illegal car meets and street racing. Officers continue to engage with communities to ensure they’re aware of the legalities around vehicle and land ownership, and laws of the road.
