Current priorities

Anti Social Behaviour in Fairwater Square

Youths over the summer period are spending more time in public areas, such as Fairwater Square. The neighbourhood team are dedicating time to patrol Fairwater Square during peak ASB hours of the day (1800-2100) to ensure the public feel safe when entering this space, and the youths are enjoying the space appropriately.

Community Tension regarding priority individuals on my ward

Well known individuals in Fairwater raising community tension from ongoing incidents taking place over a large period of time. A growing frustration has been voiced and noticed on social media and has increased over the last few weeks. Something to keep an eye on and for consideration when on patrols.

Thefts of Bikes/Cars/Items in vehicles

High increase of thefts in the area, causing increase of community tension mostly on social media. A consideration when on patrols to prioritise areas that have been hit recently/continuously.
