E-Scooters and E-Bikes are in the most part illegal to use in public and are a danger to riders and the public. Reducing the use of them by educating the public, proactively enforcing, and removing these from the streets reduces the risk to the riders and the public.

Neighbourhood officers are using different tactics to identify those on illegal e scooters and e bikes to gather intelligence. This information is used for planned operations, where these e scooters and e bikes have been and will be seized.

Neighbourhood officers aim to tackle drug dealing by proactive Intelligence gathering and high visibility Patrols in the area to gain evidence for potential Warrants on these locations and charges for offenders.
