Current priorities

You Said - Illegal use of off-road and electric motorbikes and quad bikes across a number of parks and open spaces

We Did - We are working with our partner agencies to develop intelligence around the offenders and the hot-spot locations for this type of activity. In addition we are working with our Roads Policing Team to ensure that offenders are targeted and prosecuted and any vehicles are seized appropriately. We also utilising new technology such as the use of drones to assist us in targeting offenders and key locations. Over the past few weeks we have seized a number of illegal motorbikes from areas of concern across the city. These were as a direct result of concerns raised by the local community.

Youth anti-social behaviour.

We are receiving reports of youth ASB across a number of areas. We will be proactively patrolling the area and working partner agencies where appropriate on long term projects and problem solving. This has already resulted in a number of individuals being identified. We will look to robustly deal those individuals identified as being responsible.

You said that anti-social behaviour and linked wildlife crime had been reported in the Richmond Green area.

We did. Local officers have taken ownership of the investigations and are actively following up lines of enquiry. We are also proactively patrolling the area looking to identify those linked to ASB.
