Current priorities

Off Road Bikes

Police continue to work with partners to address the off-road bike issues. Drone technology is being utilised to identify offenders and seize bikes. The neighbourhood policing teams are taking a multi-pronged approach to combatting this, by actively engaging with members of the public to educate them on the dangers and legal status of riding without a valid license and insurance which is required and through enforcement action, via Operation Endurance, which focusses on targeting and seizing problematic offroad and Electric motorcycles. As a result of this approach, we have seized and destroyed multiple nuisance bikes over previous months. We would encourage members of the public to report any known locations of these bikes to police and partners.
