What was investigated
We are investigating the contact between West Yorkshire Police and a 37-year-old man arrested at a hotel in Huddersfield. Shortly after the man was arrested, he became ill and was taken to hospital where sadly he later died.
Outcome
The investigation is at an early stage. All officers are being treated as witnesses and have provided accounts of what happened.
