What was investigated

We have completed our investigation into contact Warwickshire Police officers had with Darren Cumberbatch on 10 July last year, prior to his death in hospital nine days later. We have undertaken a thorough investigation which concluded in August, and have since shared our findings with Darren’s family, Warwickshire Police, and HM Coroner to assist with future inquest proceedings.

Outcome

The investigation report will be published after the conclusion of an inquest.
